This blog contains my thoughts and feelings only. It IS titled, "The Daily Life of Carol: My Thoughts, Rants & Raves." They do not represent those of anyone else. While I still can't imagine how my little blog is making the rounds locally, it is mine and mine only. If you are going to be offended or feel it necessary to whine or complain to those completely unassociated to me and my blog, stop reading and find something else to do with your time.

Book Review: "Richard Sherlock in The Case of the Not-So-Fair Trader" by Jim Stevens

This is an awesome book. I highly recommend reading "Richard Sherlock in The Case of the Not-So-Far Trader" by Jim Stevens.

Oh my goodness - finally a book with an excellent plot, characters, and ending without vulgarity or sex scenes. Just a straightforward murder mystery.

Former homicide detective turned insurance investigator, Richard Sherlock is a divorced dad, trying to earn a living, take care of his daughters, and discover who killed the commodities trader. There's plenty of suspects to choose from -- ex-wives, kids, employees, fellow traders. Nobody likes Alvin Augustus and everybody wanted him dead. But whodunit? Sherlock solves the murder and saves the day! And, it's great reading along the way. So don't miss this book!! It's worth the money.

P.S. It's the first book in a series. I can't wait to read the next.

P.S.S. I want Alvin's rock garden. It sounds so cool.
